| Li Yu International was established in April, 1991 with the aim to recruit and train seamen, providing agency service for Taiwanese fishing fleet.
The goals of the company are to： |

*Ease the urgent labour demand caused by lack of trained crew in the fishery industry in Taiwan by providing a service to train and introduce seamen to fishing companies. The result is that it assists fishing companies in gaining a competitive advantage.
*Provide an avenue to create additional income for poor regions in the form of facilitating labour exportation. The result is that it improves the living standards for the certain regions. |

We are currently facilitating over 2,000 seamen working on Taiwanese fishing vessels, including jigger vessels, long liners and purse seiners. These vessels are operating in the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
We concern about the working environment on vessels, captain’s leading style, and seamen’s welfare on the one hand, and also pay attention to seamen’s physical fitness, obedience, and family background.
